President Trump on Monday officially recognized ‘the plain truth that Israel’s capital is Jerusalem,’ as his administration celebrated the opening of a new U.S. Embassy in the Holy City on the 70th anniversary of Israel’s founding,” Gabby Morrongiello writes for the Washington Examiner.

Steven Cash, former Chief Counsel to Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and former CIA Operations Officer, writes in The Hill that as “the first woman, and the first career intelligence professional since Director William Casey to lead the CIA, [Gina] Haspel promises to be an excellent, apolitical and talented leader. She should be confirmed.”

As Hamas continues to exploit protests to foment violence against Israel, finding a way to help the people of Gaza in any meaningful way becomes more and more challenging,” President Trump’s Special Representative for International Negotiations, Jason Greenblatt, writes in The Jerusalem Post. “All parties interested in bringing change to Gaza need to face the reality that Hamas has failed its own people.”
