Proposal from Japanese

There are many challenges. However,
I think that human dreams will surely come true.

December 12, 2020: Saturday edition. Dear Sir,
The United States and Europe should promote "reciprocating engine vehicles, etc."
that use hydrogen as fuel instead of gasoline.
China holds 70% of the world's production of rare earths,
and the world is constantly exposed to the fear of China's export control regulations.
If you want to promote "fuel cell vehicles",
you should develop catalysts that do not rely on "rare metals".
On September 21, 2020, Airbus, a major European aerospace manufacturer,
announced a plan to develop a hydrogen-flying passenger aircraft.
It aims to be put into practical use by 2035. Great!
All engines, including ships, trains and construction machinery,
should be powered by "hydrogen fuel" and should be put to practical use by 2035.
There are many challenges. However, I think that human dreams will surely come true.

Part 1 The Chinese government has begun to consider establishing a new export control system
for rare earths, which are indispensable as components for electric vehicles (EVs).
As the US-China trade conflict intensifies, the aim is to shake the US side,
which relies on China for 80% of rare earth imports. However,
export controls have "lost" at the World Trade Organization (WTO).
It is a "forbidden hand" that was sealed in 2014 as the final year.
If it comes back for the first time in five years, it could isolate China.

Shibaura Institute of Technology announced on August 3, 2016
that it has developed a "NCNP-CNF composite material" consisting
of nitrogen-containing carbon (NCNP) and carbon nanofiber (CNF) using solution plasma treatment (Fig. 1).
If it can be put into practical use as an inexpensive "positive electrode catalyst"
that does not use rare metals such as platinum,
it will contribute to cost reduction of fuel cells and the like.

Airbus says it will launch several technology demonstration programs
in the coming months to test hydrogen fuel cells and hydrogen combustion technologies.
Then, over about five years, we will carry out research and development
of hydrogen technology necessary for the realization of ZEROe.
The company hopes to launch the ZERO e program by 2025 and complete a full-scale aircraft prototype
by the late 2020s.
Guillaume Faury, CEO of Airbus, said,
"I am convinced that the realization
of an aircraft using hydrogen has the potential to significantly reduce the impact
of the aircraft on climate change."
He calls for decisive action across the aviation industry, including industry partners.

A hydrogen vehicle is a vehicle that uses hydrogen as energy to drive.
It is divided into two types, one that burns directly
by improving the gasoline engine and diesel engine,
and the other that generates electricity with a fuel cell.
The latter mechanism uses a fuel cell to cause a chemical reaction between hydrogen
and oxygen to generate electricity, and then turns a motor to run the vehicle,
giving it a distinctive name from a "fuel cell vehicle."
In fact, there are some issues with using hydrogen as an energy source.

Will continue tomorrow.

Please support the victims of human rights violations by the Japanese government.
The prosperity of the free world is "realized" by freedom, democracy and "ruled under the law."
I am seriously seeking "government under the law" of Japan.
There are many victims in the world due to "illegal punishment" of "violation of immigration law".
For more information, see Saturday and the "Send on weekdays" email.
Please instruct the people concerned to investigate.

There are also many American victims.
There are also many Chinese victims.
There are also many Filipino victims.

Documents to be submitted to the ICC.
