The United States and Europe should jointly implement policies to increase exports to China. Exporting directly from the United States or Europe to China is difficult in terms of product cost.

Proposal from Japanese

December 19, 2020: Saturday edition. Dear Sir,
The United States and Europe should jointly implement policies to increase exports to China.
Exporting directly from the United States or Europe to China is difficult in terms of product cost.
The United States and Europe export "parts and materials" to "third countries."
Then, it is processed into a product in a "third country" and exported to China.
I am proposing a "special zone" on the US-Mexico border as a region equivalent to this "third country."
If you do not want to build a "special zone",
you should invest in "third countries" such as Africa,
Asia and Latin America to build a factory as an export base to China.
In this case, competitiveness with labor costs with China is important.
If it is a region with the same wages as China, I think it is sufficiently competitive.
In Asia, India, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Myanmar, etc. are attractive "countries".
This is also the "FTP of the Alliance of Democrats" centered on "Western countries
and India" that "competes" the "TPP" and "RCEP" promoted by China and Japan.

Part 1 I think "TPP" and "RCEP" will be a war with Western countries.
Joining India is important for the Alliance of Democrats FTP.
India has left "RCEP".
The trade deficit with China is as large as about 48.7 billion dollars (about 5.1 trillion yen) as of 2019.
Due to territorial disputes, I think the Indian people will be serious about fighting China.
India has a large population and is attractive as a market.
The United States can export agricultural products to India.
India is a "democratic nation", so it is a fascinating country.
Western countries should invest in India on behalf of China.

The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) has been organized
within the framework of 15 countries except India.
Japan, which wants to curb China's growing influence through India,
sought to sign in 16 countries, including India, but could not return to the negotiating table.
India has moved away from the negotiations since it announced its withdrawal at a summit in November last year.
India had a trade deficit with 11 RCEP negotiating countries, and in particular,
the trade deficit with China was a huge amount of about 48.7 billion dollars
(about 5.1 trillion yen) as of 2019.
In India, there were widespread concerns about the increase in imports from China
and other countries due to participation in the RCEP.

The impact on Japanese companies trying to build a supply chain
within the framework of 16 countries is not small.
The Japanese government has taken the lead in urging India to return to negotiations to the last minute,
but India was not seen at the signing ceremony.

On the other hand, there is also a view that the duplication
of multiple free trade agreements “FTA” may lead to entanglement of tariffs and rules,
which may disrupt trade.

Western countries should not have a relationship with "RCEP" or "TPP" led by "China or Japan".
I think it is a wise decision not to participate in India's "RCEP".
"China and Japan" differ greatly from Western countries in "democracy" and "values of the rule of law."
When a "communist or socialist country",
that is, a "totalitarian" "authoritarian state" participates, it becomes a WTO "second dance = same error".

Will continue tomorrow.

Please support the victims of human rights violations by the Japanese government.
The prosperity of the free world is "realized" by freedom, democracy and "ruled under the law."
I am seriously seeking "government under the law" of Japan.
There are many victims in the world due to "illegal punishment" of "violation of immigration law".
For more information, see Saturday and the "Send on weekdays" email.
Please instruct the people concerned to investigate.

There are also many American victims.
There are also many Chinese victims.
There are also many Filipino victims.

Documents to be submitted to the ICC.
