She said the visit by the U.S. congressional delegation in the face of accelerating Chinese Communist Party aggression should be seen as a clear statement of U.S. support for Taiwan. If that is the case, then the first step should be to abandon the One China Policy and support Taiwan independence.
But Pelosi's "one China" policy, she said. Then the “Taiwan government” is the “rebel army” of the “Beijing government”.
Is Pelosi's "visit to Taiwan" an act of "overthrowing the Beijing government" and turning the Taiwanese government into the Chinese government? Pelosi should be more blunt. She should say "I support Taiwan's independence". But this will be war.
Russia has warned Washington about Pelosi's "visit". Russia supports China. Pelosi's visit to Taiwan would put the United States at odds with China. It is annoying that "fire sparks fly" to Japan.
If the majority of Taiwanese want "Taiwan independence", I think the United States should specifically support "Taiwan independence". But now it's not the majority.
Therefore, I don't think the United States can support Taiwan's independence. Even in the direction of "Taiwan independence," China should demand "demilitarization and neutrality" from Taiwan, just as Russia has demanded from Ukraine.

The world wants peace, and the people of Taiwan want the status quo. Pelosi should refrain from acting selfishly. California voters please don't make Pelosi "Congressman".
