「日本と共に自由で開かれたインド太平洋地域を構築していく」と語り、
日米両国が連携して新たな「世界戦略」への取り組みをスタートさせたかのように見られていた。
しかし、日本は「一帯一路」に積極参加すると言う。クレイジーだ！

自由主義、民主主義、市場経済、基本的人権の擁護、
そして法の支配という「普遍的価値」の共有であった。
