Thank you for your email. Today, as we gather with our loved ones in thanksgiving for the blessings we have received, let us be mindful of our fellow Americans who have faced difficulties this year. In particular, let us pause and remember all of those who have suffered tragedy as a result of the devastating natural disasters our country has experienced this year. Our Nation owes a debt of gratitude to our dedicated public service officers, law enforcement personnel, and first responders who are on the front lines selflessly serving and protecting our communities. We are also grateful for the unwavering dedication and unspoken sacrifice of the men and women bravely serving in our military, and we pray for the more than 200,000 service members protecting and defending our freedom and liberty oversees. Melania and I continue to be inspired by their selfless service, and we especially admire the strength, resolve, and grace of their spouses and families, many of whom will celebrate the holidays this year with an empty seat at the table. Most hold no rank and wear no uniform, yet they humbly serve our country with distinction. We honor them for their loyalty and devotion and, on behalf of a grateful Nation, we offer our thanks and prayers. This Thanksgiving, may God bless you and your family, and may He continue to bless the United States of America. Sincerely, |
