The Russian president's office announced on July 17 that it had "suspended the implementation of the agreement" regarding the export of Ukrainian agricultural products. Why is the United Nations not fulfilling its “agreement” with Russia? Putin's anger is justified. Western democracy is crumbling.
The last extension was March 18th. The agreement was signed by the United Nations and Turkey in July last year with Russia and Ukraine, respectively, with the aim of facilitating food exports that have stalled since Russia's invasion of Ukraine. It was extended for 120 days in November 2022.
According to the United Nations, approximately 25 million tons of food have been exported to 45 countries since the conclusion of the agreement, contributing to the stabilization of the world's food market. Russia has insisted on a 60-day extension this time, citing restrictions imposed by Western sanctions on its own food exports.
The United Nations said it "remains strongly committed" not only to the Ukrainian food export deal, but also to the "memorandum of understanding to facilitate Russia's food and fertilizer exports," and called on "all parties" to "fully implement the agreement." Europe and the United States should abide by the UN agreement!
Western citizens are deceived. This is the same tactic the West used to "deceive Russia" in the Minsk agreements. The UN is deceiving Russia. The "member states of the United Nations" should faithfully implement the "contents of the agreement."
Ukraine should also take responsibility. Food exports from Ukraine should enlist Western countries to fulfill their promises to Russia. The West has "cheated Russia" so many times that Russia can no longer be silenced.
Western citizens should know the ``agreement'' that ``four countries including Russia'' have signed with the United Nations. UN member states should abide by the "agreement". Western countries are “shameless”.
Regarding exports of agricultural products, which Russia has claimed, the United Nations has promised to reconnect Russia's sanctioned "Agricultural Bank" to the "international payment network" SWIFT.
The United Nations cannot fulfill its promises to Russia because the United States and others oppose Russia's SWIT connection. It is the "Western countries" that are obstructing Ukrainian food exports.
If "the United States and France" ignore the agreement of the United Nations and obstruct "Ukrainian food exports", they should export the wheat of "the United States and France".
I think that the reason why "the United States and France" "interfere" with Ukraine's food exports is to raise the "international market price" of "wheat, etc." and "make a profit."
On July 17, Turkish President Erdogan said, "I believe that President Putin also wants to continue the agreement," and expressed his expectations for the continuation of the agreement as a mediator. Do it over and over and you'll lose Putin's trust.
