There is another reason for the "missile launch." North Korea says, "This is a message to the Japanese government to 'return' the 'abduction victims' to North Korea." I don't think many people understand what this means.

Then, a year and a half later, in May 2004, North Korea returned the children of the abductees to Japan. I felt like I had never seen "resolute Japanese diplomacy" before. This is why North Korea is threatening Japan.
