Japan's Justice in the Dark

To President Trump

May 4, 2025 (Sunday Edition)
This article was written on April 23. Rice prices have been rising for 15 consecutive weeks in Japan. It will not be effective if the government releases its stockpiles of rice. The United States should make "urgent exports of rice" to Japan without tariffs or restrictions. ?

The Japanese government seems to be making concessions regarding "rice" in the tariff negotiations, but the Trump administration should not allow even the slightest compromise when it comes to rice and automobiles.

The current Trump administration should allow Japan and the United States to import rice on equal terms, unlimited and without tariffs.

Please see the April 25 issue. Nissan and GM's sales partnership. Nissan will bet its future on selling GM cars in Japan. The Japanese government will import them without tariffs and purchase them as official cars.

GM will also bet its future on selling Nissan's minicars in the United States. The Trump administration should allow the import of minicars as an exception, on a trial basis, without tariffs.

I think that this sales alliance between GM and Nissan is a complementary alliance for both companies. Both governments should support this alliance as a concrete solution to trade issues.

There will be no mergers or acquisitions in this alliance. If the two companies seriously work on complementing each other, trade friction in the automotive sector will reach a level of mutual understanding.

Now, the Trump administration should hold an emergency meeting in the ongoing Japan-US negotiations and immediately agree to emergency exports of US rice. Of course, Japan will import rice without tariffs or restrictions.

This emergency import of rice is also to urgently resolve Japan's rice shortage. The Japanese government should focus on consumer measures rather than farmer measures, as the distribution of rice, a staple food, is out of control.

Rice exports from next year onwards should begin around the end of the year, taking into account the situation of this year's emergency exports. By that time, the Japanese government will be able to calmly proceed with negotiations.

At the end-of-year meeting, Japan and the US should mutually agree to reduce rice tariffs to zero. If the US increases its imports of Japanese rice, it will be easier for the Japanese government to convince farmers.

You need to understand the main differences between California rice and Japanese rice. The main differences are the grain size, stickiness, and texture.

California rice is a medium-grain variety, with less stickiness, a fluffy texture, and a light flavor. On the other hand, Japanese rice is a short-grain variety, with strong stickiness, a chewy texture, and a rich flavor.

California rice is suitable for risotto, salad rice, fried rice, etc., while Japanese rice is suitable for sushi, onigiri, and takikomi gohan.

The Trump administration should stipulate by law that "Japanese rice" is used in the "definition of Japanese food such as sushi and washoku" and support the import of Japanese rice.

The Japanese government should appeal that "California rice" is suitable for "risotto, salad rice, and fried rice" through government public relations and "television advertising." They should also ask restaurants and TV cooking shows for cooperation.

Japanese government ministers are opposed to a "tariff-free/import quota system" for the reason of "food security," but if that is the case, they should also allow import routes for "long-grain rice" from "Thailand and other countries" without tariffs.

The Trump administration should understand that even if the Japanese government accepts "unlimited/tariff-free" imports of American rice, the increase in imports of "California rice" is due to Japanese "taste."

Since "California rice" is deeply connected to Japanese food culture, the Trump administration should "request" Japanese restaurant chains, etc., in cooperation with the U.S. and Japan, to "serve" dishes using "California rice" for fried rice and pilaf.

I'll write again tomorrow.

Part 2: Immigration Law Violation Cases, Sunday Edition

Chapter 7: When I was released from prison after completing my sentence, I read the newspaper and found out that a similar incident had occurred at the Philippine Embassy.

Philippine diplomats, embassy staff, and Filipino drivers have suffered the same damage as me.

I have also filed a criminal accusation against this case.

I and the Chinese in the 2010 immigration law violation case, and the Philippine Embassy staff and diplomats in 2013, were punished for the same reason.

I have submitted my complaint and the complaints of the Chinese and Filipinos to the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office, the Tokyo High Public Prosecutors Office, and the Supreme Public Prosecutors Office.

However, all of them were rejected. If the prosecutor accepts and rejects the case, I can request the Prosecutor's Review Board to prosecute, but I have no way to oppose the rejection.

I also appealed to political parties and Diet members. But they were all ignored.

A city council member accompanied me to the Democratic Party's legal advisor. However, the advisor's answer was that if the "principal offense" is found guilty, then the "crime of aiding and abetting" is established. Is he really a lawyer?

The Democratic Party's legal advisor says that all those who graduated from the Legal Training and Research Institute have the same answer. This is proof that Japan is not "governed under the law".

I asked the Japan Bar Association for support. They said that the JFBA does not have the "power" to solve the problem. Japan's "judicial system" is crazy.

I have "emailed" "political parties and Diet members", as well as "the Prime Minister's Office and the Human Rights Bureau" on "Facebook and (X)", but they are still ignoring me.

This case is an arbitrary misapplication of the law by police officers, prosecutors, and judges. (It is an illegal act).

The charges are "Abuse of the authority of a special public official" and "Crimes of False Complaints".

In my "personal opinion," the prosecutors "concealed" the "criminal complaint" and "criminal accusation" by their "authority." Therefore, the "statute of limitations" has been suspended.

"Chapter 8." This case is "legally" an "error in the application of law."
"Errors in the application of law" are not subject to "requests for retrial" under the "Criminal Procedure Law."

However, if the "crime of the inspectors and police officers involved in the case" is "proven," a request for retrial can be made.

1. The charge against the "special public officials" in this case is "abuse of the authority of special public officials."
They "arrested" us even though there was "no suspicion of a crime." And they even "detained" us. (There is a precedent for grand jury decisions.)
2. And it is "the crime of false accusation." It is a fact that they "indicted" us and even found us guilty in a "trial" in order to make us criminals.

Requests for retrial can be made by us or by the prosecutors.
I believe that the prosecution should admit guilt and make a request for a retrial.

I will not give up. It has been 15 years since the incident.

The only country that can resolve this case is the United States.
When Trump was the former president, he promised me.

He replied with a signed letter saying, "I will resolve this in a way that satisfies you."

I hope that this time he will keep his promise.

President Trump, let's work together to "revive the Rust Belt" and create a "special zone on the Mexican border."

And let's cross the Caribbean Sea to the Pacific Ocean in two hours with the "American Linear Canal Railway," a freight train dedicated to containers that will replenish the Panama Canal.

People around the world, please support us.
