On Memorial Day, we pause as a Nation to pay tribute to the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect and defend our precious liberties. Our Nation owes a debt of gratitude to the courageous service members who laid down their lives for our country.
Today, I will visit the hallowed grounds of Arlington National Cemetery to participate in a wreath laying ceremony to honor the fallen. As we commemorate the legacy of our patriots who have given their lives for this country, we pray that God comforts their spouses, families, and friends.
As we observe this Memorial Day, Melania and I send our thoughts and prayers to all the Gold Star families who have lost a loved one in the fight to preserve freedom. May God bless you, and may He bless the United States of America.
